Ongoing Sessions

Whether your child has a diagnosis coming in or we are targeting a specific skill, all kiddos will be assessed before beginning targeted work.
After the initial assessment, we will work together to create a plan, which will provide evidence-based strategies and resources to guide the child through meeting their developmental milestones, increase their participation in daily life, and provide parent and family encouragement.

WHAT DOES A SESSION LOOK LIKE?

It’s so fun! We create a child-centered environment and help your kiddo work through their challenges with targeted intervention. Most of the time they won’t even notice they’re working so hard!

The parent/guardian should be an active participant during the session.

At the beginning of each session the grown-ups will briefly chat about the previous week and let the child get comfortable with the environment.

During each session we will target at least 1 specific goal, utilizing a variety of approaches.

Each session will be 1 hour long. Some kids may be able to have more than 1 session per week.

LOCATION

Our typical in person school-year sessions will take place in our charming office space in Central Austin. Out of office sessions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Virtual sessions will take place over the family’s chosen platform.

Summer Sessions will take place in Chicago, IL in your home or in 60626. (All Austin and other clients are welcome to continue sessions virtually during the summer.)

We are fully vaccinated and will follow CDC recommended COVID-19 precautions and guidelines.
